RETURNS POLICY

 

In-Store Purchases Only

This returns policy applies to purchases made in-store only. Horton Motor Factors does not sell products online.

 

1. Your Legal Rights

 

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

 

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for purpose

  • As described

 

If an item is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with UK law.

 

 

2. Faulty Items

If a product is faulty:

  • Return it to the store with proof of purchase.

  • Items may be inspected or tested before a refund or replacement.

 

Within 30 days of purchase:
You may be entitled to a full refund if the item is confirmed faulty.

 

After 30 days:
We may offer a repair or replacement in line with manufacturer guidelines.

 

 

3. Change of Mind Returns

 

For unwanted items that are not faulty:

 

  • Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase.

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

 

Refunds for change-of-mind purchases are at management discretion and may be offered as an exchange or credit note.

 

4. Non-Returnable Items (Unless Faulty)

 

The following items cannot be returned once purchased unless proven faulty:

 

  • Special order parts

  • Paint mixed to vehicle code

  • Electrical components once fitted

  • Batteries once installed

  • Oils, fluids, and consumables once opened

  • Parts that have been fitted or used

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

 

5. Warranty Claims

Some items are covered by manufacturer warranties. Claims may require inspection and testing in accordance with supplier procedures.

6. Refund Method

Refunds will be made to the original payment method where possible.
